What should I do to "fix" an embedded earring?!

Question:

What should I do to "fix" an embedded earring?

I got my ears pierced about a week ago, and now my left lobe is very swollen and I think my earring is embedded. I've been cleaning them with antiseptic from Claire's (where I got them pierced) three or more times a day. Should I just wait for the swelling to go down? Help!

Answers:

I had the same problem to me the last two times I got my ears pierced. When they get embedded like that, you really need to twist the earring around to let the skin break apart from it. I also found that using antiseptic from the place I got my ears pierced from isn't good at all. I use an eye dropper and put some hydrogin peroxcide in it and then tilt my head so I can slowly put the peroxcide onto the earlobe so it gets into the infection. Do that twice everyday instead of using the antiseptic. It works so much better

I hope your ears are okay, I hoped I helped! Good luck!
