In so much pain can you help?

after having two operations for squashed vertabras inmy neck i have servere pain in my upper right arm, i'm having surgery in three weeksfor carpal tunnel, but i'm worried it isn't that as i can't reach up for anything or get my hand up my back or pull clothes over my head without getting a really bad pain as if mt muscel at the top of arm is twisting, has anybody had these symptons please, would be really gratefull for answers.

You need to talk to your Dr again. It sounds very much as though the op on your vertebrae has produced the pain in your arm. It may be as simple as a 'frozen shoulder' due to the tension of the muscles or it may be a trapped nerve. Either way, if the Dr does not take you seriously, ask for a second opinion and at the very least ask for some muscle relaxants and adequate pain relief.
As for the Carpal Tunnel , this is unlikely to have created such pain that high up. It generally creates pain in the lower arm and wrist.
