Why is my back hurting when i cough?!
Question: Why is my back hurting when i cough?
You have muscles being pinched by the spine when you cough and when you move to cause the pains you are feeling. Pinched back muscles are also responsible for most chest pains for they often send the pains around the body on the nerves to be rib, chest or heart area pains. To get rid of your back pains you have to free up your back muscles. There are two ways to free them up, but only one that one can do by themselves and here is that one for you:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
A chest infection is infact an infection of the lungs, the lungs are not just at the front of your body. you are probably feeling that infection through your back which is very common. Or and you may have pulled a muscle while coughing, in extreme cases coughing can cause serious injuries as well as long term damage to your lungs.
pneumonia can cause pain in the chest. please get checked out.
