Heartburn/indigestion?!

Question:

Heartburn/indigestion?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and just started getting SEVERE heartburn. I've had it for 4 hours now and it's not going away....I tried Maalox chewables and that didn't work. Any suggestions on anything else that would help that is also safe to take during pregnancy? Also, I know it's probably best that I don't eat, but i'm starving -- what things would be best to eat? THANKS!!

Answers:

Eat fatty hamburgers (not too high or it will taste gross), steak with the fat on, chicken drums with the fat on, and salmon with unsalted butter.

Or, eat red and black beans for protein and drink coconut milk for saturated fat and if you want you can make a tasty drink out of it by mixing it with spring water and fruit juice concentrate (that has vitamin C, 120% or better if you can).

To prevent the gas pain from the beans you will need to eat a certain type of enzyme (go to the website in my profile).

DON'T drink anything with nutrasweet, aspartame, splenda, or phenylalanine (it's the same chemical) in it. Most of the candy at Walmart has artificial sweeteners in them that include that stuff. It turns into poison after you eat it and if you eat to much you can rupture blood vessels in your eye or get fatal brain cancer. It's not a myth, I listened to FDA employees give their testimony on it. Stuff with xylitol it or sweetened with honey is ok though.

DON'T eat lean mean, it's not good to do that unless you are getting saturated fat from another source like coconut milk. Contrary to what many believe and teach the fat on the meat is essential for health. And it doesn't make you fat, it helps keep you slim.
