How to prevent tick bites?
Our family recently bought a ranch in West Texas and it has proven to be a great buy, but along with the gorgeous scenery there is an infestation of ticks. We all know that spraying with Off all over and tucking your pants into boots/socks helps immensely, but I am curious if anyone knows of something better. Are there any preventatives not unlike what are used for fleas and ticks in dogs that are safe for humans? You would think that by now they'd have some kind of effective oral treatment/preventative for humans to use when knowing you're going into "the lions den" of the tick world, lol....

you have to constantly check, look at any little feeling on your body. I usually find them before they latch onto me because I feel them crawling around. I think their is some repellent , but I hate bug repellent
