What have I done to my wrist?!

Question: What have I done to my wrist?
Errrm,

So i was ripstiking and attempting tyo do a wheelie. it didnt exactly work. i fell off and landed on my wrist.

This happened about 10 mnutes ago. it hurt like hell and hung limp, but i could still lift it a little and move my fingers. now its wrapped in a cold cloth but the pain is worse. my fingers have started tingling but i can still move them. i can't lift or roll my wrist anymore, though, and it feels like...you know when you need to crack your knuckles, that kind of discomfort? oh, and yeah, IT HURTS.

what have i done, do you think? should i wait it out or get it checked?

(sorry if i made any spelling mistakes; im typing with one hand)

crap, the skin around my wrist has gone numb, too...

Answers:

And that, Kitty, is why you don't wheelie on a ripstik.
I would definitely go to either the doctors or hospital or something along those lines. You've obviously done some damage to your wrist, and if after 10 minutes it's only getting worse, then there's a chance that you could have a little break or sprained it or something.
If you can't move it... Well, that's not good at all. I would definitely go straight to the hospital or something to get it checked out (go there by car, not a ripstik, kay?)

EDIT- Hahahaha, well aren't you smart? =P. Epic Fail Kitty, epic fail. I would usually say GET ONTO CHATROLL NOW!!! But I think that may be a little difficult right now. Oh, and you lied on formspring -.- =P

EDIT 2- Yes, you lied. You said you'd be on Chatroll last night. You weren't =P. Well anyways, I hope your wrist isn't broken!

Maybe it's broken?
I'd wait and see. After a while sometimes the feeling comes back into it.
If that doesn't happen then maybe you could have your mom or dad or someone take you to the doctor.
Good luck Kitty! :(
Hope you'll still be able to write. Hahah xD

You should strongly think about going to the dr. There is a very good chance you broke your wrist!!!

Pack a whole lot of ice packs on it and wait about an hour to see how it's going. It sounds to me as if the worst it could be would be a sprain. There would be a lot more swelling if it were broken. The numbness is just your body's initial reaction to pain; it's trying to "soften the blow" so to speak.

If, after an hour, you still can't move your hand, if you notice an unusual amount of bruising, if the pain spreads up your arm at all and begins affecting other joints, or if you start feeling sick (i.e., nauseous, feverish, etc.) in any way, go ahead and get yourself to a Doctor.

No medical training, just clumsy and get hurt alot.
