Flight medic?!
Question:
Flight medic?
ok so I'm in the military and I'm going to be trained to repel from helicopters but i'm infantry not a medic. since im in the guard i was thinking of taking paramedic classes, what else would i have to do to become a flight medic in georgia?
Answers:
sorry i'm not from Georgia but im a paramedic, you can look on your local public health department's website and they should have a link to emergency medical services, there they should have information about it. if not than you can try the state's EMS website they should have some sort of information about it. but one of the things that i have always found the most usefull is actually talking to a flight paramedic, preferably a fairly new one so they can tell you the exact up to date requirements. but contacting your local EMSA should help you out. good luck with your career, it's a great career if you love the crazy hours and, being closer and spending more time with your partner than your own family. it's a very rewarding job. i hope that you love it as much as i do.
