Answers:
Ice or heat, whichever works better for you, every few hours.
Over the counter NSAID medication, Ibuprofen, Naproxen...take as directed on the bottle, this decreases inflammation and helps with pain.
Limited use of that shoulder for 6 weeks, no heavy lifting, pushing or pulling. No repetitive movements.
Isometric exercises which strengthen the muscles around the joint without causing further irritation through excessive movement.
