Just got home from hospital for a broken ankle doctor put ankle in an air cast until i go to orthopedic doctor
got air cast for broken ankle to immobolize it until appt. at orthopedic doctor tommorrow. The doctor said he will put a fiberglass cast on it then is this true

Yep that's true. The orthopedist will review your x-rays from the ER, review anything else the ER doctor sent over, look at your ankle, and then cast it. They'll tell you how long it'll have to be in a cast, set you up with a follow up appointment, tell you how to care for your cast, ice your ankle through the cast, elevate...usual stuff. They'll also be the doctor to tell you if you'll need any type of surgery or further diagnosing methods such as an MRI.
