What's wrong with me?

I play softball for the summer league, and almost every day, I go outside and just throw the ball up, and hit it.....well.....today, I was doing that, and I got this major cramp in my elbow.......it hurts really bad, and I dont think its broken, because I can bend it perfectly, I just cant straightin it out....and when I try to, I get this horrible cramp all over again, and It doesnt ease up for about 5 min. My mom thinks that I might have pulled something? It isn't bruised either, and I have a game comming up on Tueday!!! Is there anything that I can do to help it get better? Would Icey Hot help any? I know its not aurtheritious.......at least I dont think......im only 13, but anyways PLEASE help!! Thanx a bunch!!

Answers:

it could be what is called Tennis elbow .

Tennis elbow is a condition with the arm that actually effects wrist movement more than the elbow itself. This can be caused by several sports, too. From golf, to softball or even housework can create problems with your wrists. When you find that you have trouble and you can feel it in your elbow, tennis elbow is often the result of using improper technique, or overuse. Despite the need to practice, remember than muscle fatigue can also be dangerous.

Basically, tennis elbow creates small tears from the tendon that provide movement in most of the wrist. You will notice often that professional players use a tennis sport wrap when they play to help protect their elbows from this condition, which is a form tendonitis.

here is a site with some info on the different types of tennis elbow
