My ears feel plugged up ?!

Question: My ears feel plugged up ?
So, I was taking a nap around 4 and I woke up at 5 and my ears felt like I couldn't hear all the way clearly. I laid back down and woke up and now it's still the same. It feels as my ears are popping but I tried popping them, and I cleaned them with qtips. Nothing helped. Do you know what's possibly wrong? I'm freaking out /:

I guess your "Eustachian Tubes " are blocked.
.....This is a tube connecting between your nasal passage and the inner side of your ear drum
...This allows for changes in atmospheric changes to equalize.-- In your case it is blocked
.. Mucus can sometimes get in this small tube and cause this.

......Try this :- Hold your nose -and keep your mouth closed
...Then Blow.
.....Do it gently at first or you may get some pain
.....Gradually increase the blow

...If you are living in cold climate, it might be a good idea to warm your ears first

Tight neck muscles can be causing this for they go to the top of your head passing just inside of the ears. When they get tight they can press onto the nerves to cause pain and/or hearing loss. Freeing them up should get your hearing back for you and here's how to free them up:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about one minute, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
