If your teacher has indicated what topics are important to him, concentrate on those. If he or she hasn't, look for bullets or chapter summaries. They usually highlight the stuff you need to know. Skim the pages to see if anything jumps out at you as having been covered in class. Read those sections first, then with the remaining time read whatever else you can.
The Table of Contents, if it's a good one, will also let you know what's important to the textbook writer. Eat right and sleep well. Take breaks. Break it down. Read a chapter, take a walk. Read another chapter, watch a music video. This is not wasted time. Write the important stuff down, don't just underline or highlight it. There's a neural connection between the hand and the brain. There's a real reason we're taught to write stuff down. When we write it down, it enters our brain for good. Outline the important stuff. You'll do fine!
