What causes the ringing noise in your ear?!

Question:

What causes the ringing noise in your ear?

You know how once in a while you get a ringing noise in your ear...You know that myth " When you hear ringing noise in your ear someone is talking about you"....
well what causes this ringing?

Answers:

Someone is not talking about you.

It means you have tinnitus and if you have exposed yourself to loud sounds then its a sign that you have damaged your hearing.

Your cochlear has lots of hair cells in it like a snail shell and the bottom has recepters sending signal to your brain telling it to hear. When you damage your hearing you mess and damage the hair cells.

It can also be a side effect to some medications or ear infection, ear wax. It can be symptom of some medical conditions aswell.
