My finger is swollen due to being bitten by my dog. Should I go to the doctor?
I was bitten two days ago on my left index finger and it's swollen and throbbing. The bite may have bruised my knuckle bone. Do you think the swelling is due to infection? or the bruising? I washed it well and have not put a bandage on. I've also been icing it. Will the swelling go away on its own?
