Why do my knees hurt?
when i sit for any length of time i get exruciating pain in my knees. it's also starting to hurt when i rest them out straight. i recently had one knee lock for some time and my knees crunch and click going up down stairs. they feel like they're moving out of place. any ideas on what it is and how to treat the pain would really be appreciated. should i use a stick to walk or knee supports anything like that?

You should go and have it checked out by your doctor, but it could be arthritis.
