Swollen fingers and toes?!

Swollen fingers and toes?

well, i live in sydney and during the past few days, the weather has being very cold. A couple of days ago, i work up wiht a swollen pinky on both hands and most of my toes are swollen. is this normal? do i need to go to the docs?

I'd say that if you weren't outside and gotten frostbitten, then you may have a case of water retention. Normally, water retentionn shows up during the day and evening as you take in water but not letting it out. If you go to bed with swollen feet or legs, with water retention, the swelling is gone in the morning. I'd probably go see a dr. but son't think it is necessary for a emergency room visit.
