HELP! reacurring nightmare?!

Question:

HELP! reacurring nightmare?

help!
i keep waking up from this really bad nightmare that i was being obducted by some guy.
i was walking fast and people behind me kept yelling out "walk really slow rachael' and i kept walking faster and faster. then i was about to pass a tree and i saw something i turned around when i was pass the tree then the guy was there! i tried to run away from him and he grabbed me and i turned around and punched him and got away and ran back to the people behind me which where people i know.

the second time though i woke up when i was punching the guy and i awoke punching my pillow.

How can I stop this nightmare?
It's really disturbing. It's 2.30 at night I've been up half an hour and cant get back to sleep because I'm scared. Maybe this is what has been disturbing me. Right now I'm in therapy. Is this something I should bring up during therapy?

Please help me I'm really scared.

Rachael.

Answers:

Yes, you definately should bring this up in therapy. Also your nightmare may be connected to something you are working on in therapy. Until you are able to speak with your therapist, I would suggest that maybe you can ask whomever you believe in (faith wise) to help you. May you have only sweet dreams of peace and love. NO, it is NOT your fault. NO, you are not crazy.
