now I'm doing this topic of research, and i also need to interview 5 people who can suppots me some of ur own opinions. so now I'm going to arrange a few of questions, then i'm appraciate that ur guys answer me these questions...

1: Do you think it is a safe way to smoke?

2:Do you think cigarette smoking really addictive?


3:What does nicotine do?



4:Why do people begin to smoke?


5:What in cigarette smoke is harmful?

6:Does cigarette smoking affect the heart?

7:What are some of the short- and long-term effects of smoking cigarettes?

8What are the dangers of environmental tobacco smoke (ETS)?

you can find up these questions from the website, but i really hope you guys can add and support ur own ideas, because that's part of job for doing this interview,anyone of ur guys opinion are valuable, thank u guys helping me


Answers:

1. I do not think there is any safe way to smoke--even 2nd hand smoke is dangerous.
2.Yes, I think people crave the nicotine as well as the "slimming" benefits smoking provides and the stimulant, and mood altering effects.
3. Nicotine increases adrenalin release (increased heart rate, BP and resp), increases Glucose release and gets its pleasureable side effects from dopamine enhancement.
4. Good question. Peer pressure, want to be cool, want to look affluent, want to look american, as a mark of independence and defiance.
5. The nicotine, the tars, and the burned elements
6. Yes, the epinephrine effects make the heart work harder & faster.
7. Short term and long term effects are health related as well as the possibility of starting a fire. Asthma, cough, emphysema, COPD, pneumonia etc
8. Second hand smoke causes health problems which leads to increased medical costs, long term care issues, lost worker productivity, and increased health insurance premiums for everyone. Also, Butts litter the environment and get eaten by animals & fish.
