ok will im not sure if my belly ring is infected or not and im just sick of it ive had it in 4 over 2 months now so if i take it out will it just heal back 2 normal?
Answers:
As long as it isn't infected you can take it out. By infected I mean hot to the touch, dark yellow or greenish liquid coming out, ect. If it IS infected, go to the doctor and have them give you some antibiotics before you take it out. If you take it out while it's still infected, the infection will get trapped under your skin and can travel all over your body.
As far as going back to normal, odds are if it's been irritated for quite a while, you'll have at least a small scar and probably a lump of scartissue under your skin once it is healed.
2 months really isn't very long for any piercing to be completely healed. It's possible you're having an allergic reaction to the jewelery or there could be a scratch on the jewelery that's causing it to be irritated. If you're interested in keeping it (which it doesn't sound like you are, but just incase) go to a good quality piercer and have them change the barbell to either surgical grade stainless steal or titanium. This should help the piercing heal.
