Question: What do a sunken in or depressed kneecap mean?
i noticed today when sitting at my computer desk that my left kneecap (towards the bottom, above the front of the calf) is severely depressed, sunken in like. I only noticed this when i reached down and scratched it. my right kneecap looks and feels perfectly normal, left feels ok too. What is this a symptom of? I hope it's not a disease :( i am in my early 30s, have type 2 diabetes and overweight. ty

sounds like fluid on the knee
its common tht women above 30's have osteoperosis so best guess is tht u hav ostoperosis. See your doctor.
