What could cigarette smoke do to the house for one day??
I was out of town and I came home and some of my extended family members were at my house for an over night thing.....and they are chain smokers. The house is a non-smoking house and I hate the smell. Does the smell ever go away or will it stay in the house forever??? Please help me because I get very bad headaches from the smell.

The smell does attach to fibers in curtains, fabrics, carpert, clothes. You can use a lot of Fabreeze. It does help a lot. I have a Ionic Breeze and another air purifier with ionizer that kills the smells.
We do not allow smoking in our home. But the air cleaners are great for our pets and cooking odors. We even had taken our air purifier with us to a hotel last month. It made the smoking room smell normal after a short while.
