Why do Americans say "Canadians hate their Universal Health"? Any Canadians want to weigh in?
Canadians live an average of 3 years longer than Americans... it doesn't make sense.

Hi Rabble.......I am Canadian and I love our medical.
Are there problems, absolutely, what system doesn't have some problems.
Do we sometimes have to wait, YES, but I speak to many people who live in the US and have to wait just as long to see a specialist there as we do here.
The real advantage is for people who, for one reason or another don't qualify for medical. In Canada everyone is entitled to medical coverage......so for people who lose their job due to a health challenge at least there is not a huge burden placed on them because of a need to see the doctor.
I have not suffered having to wait long for any treatments myself, but have heard of others who have, my family has been very lucky I guess...........or, we only talk about things that are displeasing.
So, not all Canadians hate our medical system, I for one love it.
