Tingly fingers? They are turning red, only on my right hand.. help!?!

Question:

Tingly fingers? They are turning red, only on my right hand.. help!?

I am pregnant and I have to sleep on my side, which often causes my arm to go numb at night, and when I wake up my finger tips will be red and sometimes swollen.. I normally just move my hand around, make a fist and release it several times to regain regular blood-flow, and I don't trip on it.. But my fingers have been tingly and red, and I don't feel like the blood is getting to them at all.. It has been almost an hour since I woke up, maybe longer, and my fingers are still like this..

Could something be wrong?

[I'm not asking if I should go to the doctor.. It it prolongs or if I feel I need to, I will.. But does anyone know what this could be from, or have you experiences this before? Ideas, experiences, ect.?]

Thanks!

My doctor has prior diagnosed me with carpal tunnel.

Answers:

Its caused by not having a enough heavy blood to you're hands. Being pregnant you're blood doesnt flow like it would if you wern't pregant so it takes blood longer to reache areas. It happend to my sister and the doctor told her to try sleeping on different sides every night like swich sides. And when every you are just sitting some where try to move youre hand a much as possible to keep blood flow. Like with youre fingers and wrists. Do clockwise then counter clock wise.
