I have a vertebral fracture and i was wondering if it's okay to go out yet?!

Question:

I have a vertebral fracture and i was wondering if it's okay to go out yet?

Three weeks ago I got into a car accident. We flipped six times, and i was ejected from the vehicle. I now have a compression fracture on two vertebraes. Which would be T3, and T12. I have to wear a back brace for three months. My doctore also said he didn't want me doing ANYTHING besides taking it easy and resting for that time period. So, would it hurt to go somewhere at all? To the store, mall, movie, dinner, anything. I'm 16 and I don't really understand what could happen. It's not like I will be driving. I guess since the pain is gone it's like it's okay to do stuff, but i'm not supposed to but it's hard being a 16 year old girl stuck at home all day long during my summer. Next year I will be a senior, so i'm not able to do what everyone else is doing for "summer fun" before senior year. It just really sucks. Please help!
Thanks.
