Well, I can't remember how I got it but I remember that when I was little I had a staple in my finger and skin grew over it and I never felt it again, but I got a splinter and skin grew over it and it was like a small bubble but now it's just a little indent in my toe. my friend told me that it can ROT inside my toe and that she had something like that happen, and the nurse had to use needles and soapy water, ect. and I am TERRIFIED OF PAIN! It's been in my toe for like 2 weeks, maybe a month..what should I do, how do I know if it's rotting and what will they have to do. Please,Please help because I'm really, really scared of pain

It is understandable that you are scared of pain. But I would truely suggest you removing BOTH of these items from your body. Ask the doctor or nurse if they can rub some numbing gel on the areas that they are, this can help some. I remember when I got stitches, the doctor sprayed on this liquid on my hand, and I could not feel a single stitch, you will be lucky if they have this though! Just ask! Its not necessarily going to rot, but other things may happen that can cause health problems. Go to the doctor, bring friends or family and have them hold your hand. A few minutes of uncomfortablness may be worth it in the end.
