why cant i get my legs to go srate my knee sich out


Answers:

You have to give your body time. In order to stretch out that far, you have to do it in degrees. Your muscles and tendons and ligaments are not meant to be forced out like an opened umbrella. There are some yoga poses you can do which are progessive and will aid you in being able to stretch out adequately in order to do the splits. If you've never had any yoga experience, try going to the library and borrowing a DVD or videotape on yoga.

The other thing to try would be to take a gymnastics class. You would be learning to do the splits, and some of the other moves that tend to go with doing the splits :-) , safely.

Both things mentioned here are safe if done correctly.
