Answers:

Same here.
I have just (2 weeks ago) been diagnosed with Irritable bowel.
I suffer from the same sort of symptoms, although mine have been going on for a lot longer than 3 weeks. And I would have thought yours should have been too.
I dont only have the dodgy stools though, I also have occasional stomach cramps.
The first thing I was told to do during my diagnosis was to keep a diary of the foods I was eating.
I suggest you do the same. There maybe some sort of allergy to a specific food? although once again if this has only been going on for 3 weeks then it is unlikely.
I was told to watch my firbe intake. My Dr said that for some people with IBS more fibre helps as it makes the stools harder, and also gives the bowels 'more to work with' (!)
However he also said that for some more fibre could make it worse because by having firmer stools the bowels have more work to do... It is all down to the individual.
I would recommend eating more fibre first, particularly as you say your stools are soft. If it helps great, if not/or it gets worse, eat less of it. Again, keeping a food diary will show you whether you eat enough now. (as well as any other deficiencies in your diet.)
Bread, wheat products, and lots of fruit and veg are high in fibre.
There are loads of good websites out there too all about IBS. Have a look.
Good luck.
