even though i dont do drugs i just wanna kno a little more

Answers:

It is a stimulant alkaloid, with about ten times the stimulating effect of caffeine.

Imagine someone who just *must* have their three or four cups of coffee in the morning to even function, and multiply this by a factor of ten, and you'll have a pretty good idea of what cocaine is like.

Cocaine is addictive, but it's not that much more addictive than any of the other highly addictive drugs, and all the medical evidence shows that tobacco is still the hardest addiction to break of all.

The danger of crack is really the rapid onset, it hits you very fast, and the crash is quite hard. Of course, crack would have never existed if regular old cocaine itself were not illegal. Because it's illegal, it forces dealers to make a product that is as potent as possible to make a given dollar amount more easily evade detection.
