Charley Horse Pain?!

Charley Horse Pain?
I had a charley horse on Wednesday night about 4:00 and the pain shot me out of bed and my calf was rock hard. So all day Thursday my calf had knot in the corner of my muscle that was extremely tender and hurt to touch. I tried to massage the knot out but today my leg is just throbbing.
Has anyone else had charely horse pain that lasted longer than a day?
