A picture would be nice.

Did you wake up with it? Most spider bites swell up a tad with redness around the bite. Most spider bites are smaller then 3mm (fang spacing) unless it's a rather larger species of spider. You need to answer some questions to determine what it is.

For instance does itch it? If not good, it still could be a harmless spider but. You said you had no bruising or swelling, good if your sensation is still there (no numbness or tingling) then we know if anything it's definitely not a black widow or brown recluse. Those bites follow with specific symptoms.

A brown recluse will take a while to become necrotic (bruised looking, ulcerated and basically dying tissue) but if untreated it will and it will be super nasty.

A black widow bite is pretty bad too. These bites have symptoms such as severe abdominal pain and nausea and vomiting.

So assuming you woke up with it and it's been over 3-4 hours since you were bitten, it very well could be a harmless bite.

Wash it carefully with warm water and soap keep it clean to avoid infection secondary to the bite. We all have bacteria on our skin that has the potential to be very harmful when injected into the skin. Which is what the animal that bite you did to you.

Keep an eye on it if was on a few minutes ago. Watch for any worsening symptoms and you should be okay. If it gets worse please go visit the hospital. Bats have a numbing agent that makes the bite virtually painless. The size sounds more along the lines of a bats size. This is a very different scenario. These animals are known for carrying very harmful diseases including RABIES. The course of treatment for this if treated early isn't too bad. There is a vaccine (three shot series) that would of helped you but never the less get your self seen by a doctor

Clean your bed if you woke up with the bite and make sure those little creepy crawlies aren't living with you.

Be safe and good luck!
