Any idea why I have some pain between my knee and quad?!

Question:

Any idea why I have some pain between my knee and quad?

I never feel it when I'm not running but whenever I run more than a mile it gets a little sore. It sort of feels like a muscle pain between my knee and my quad. Does anyone have any idea why this happens or if I should worry about it?
