Question:

Answers:

It usually shows up ten days after fracturing the bone, ( well the healing process does). It's just really to do with the size, shape and location of the scaphoid. I wont bore you with x-ray beam angulation or the properties of bone healing, but it is probably the hardest fracture to see on an x-ray (certainly in the hand).
