What kind of doctor do I need?
This may be a really dumb question but I injured my big toe and now I have shooting pains up my entire leg. Must be something to do with nerves and I am not sure if I need a podiatrist or another kind of doctor? Thanks for your help!

If your MD sends you to someone, it will either be an orthopedic who specializes in bones or neurologist who specializes in nerve damage as well as muscle damage. This may be something that your primary care can take care of. Good luck
