How do you open up your own hospital?

I was just curious I had a debate with a friend.

There is a lot that goes into that you just can not open up a building and call it a hospital. You have to meet state and federal health requirements which are very strict www.cms.hhs.gov/manuals/Downlo...
There is just a small dent in what is required. Plus you have to have several doctors to be on call General, Internal, Orthopedic Surgeon, Anesthesiologist, Pathologist, Psychiatrist,Pediatricians, OB GYN, Surgery Nurses, Endoscopy, X-ray, lab, General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neurologist, Radiologist and many more.
Plus ample staffing within your state laws, that means hundreds of nurses, nurse aides, unit secretaries, lab, x-ray, admissions, housekeeping, maintenance, security I could go on and on. You also have to have all equipment on hand several rooms and floors, surgery suites, rooms with reverse ventilation for TB patients (ALL hospitals are required to have one ) It takes a lot that is why there are several hospitals that are affiliated with one larger company, county, and state hospitals and university hospitals they have the funding and ability to create something of this magnitude. Not to mention you have to meet all the insurance company requirements, medicare and medicaid.
