Neck locked, very painfull.?
I woke up this morning to find my neck locked. The pain was terrible, shooting down my right arm, down into my shoulder blade. My doctorhas put me on a neck collar and sent me for xrays as he reckons something is wrong with the proper functon in the nck. Has anyone had this problem, and any idea what it might be

Yes i had this , in my case it was two slipped discs and and a frozen vertebra. Having said that I could not get out of bed.
which will mean a neck brace for a good few months.
P.S I have just purchased on of those pillows you can by them at a chiropractors or in Tescos there £12.00 they give you proper support for your neck. I cant remember what it called the foam like stuff that NASA invented.
Anyway I have found that it has made my neck a lot better.
