If you get a scratch, how come only sometimes you have scars and sometimes you don't?
Does it have to be a deep scratch to become a scar? Why do you get them anyway? Why don't you just get the same skin color/blend in after a scab is gone? I have many scars, even a scratch from my dog gave me a scar. Does the way it heals depend on the texture of the skin?

It doesn't have to be a deep cut for it to get scarred it's just sometimes cuts don't heal properly and that causes scarring.
