I have a pain in my archillies tendon, how do i get rid of it?!

I have a pain in my archillies tendon, how do i get rid of it?

i tried massaging it(pressing down on it, but that doesnt help much)

achilles tendonitis is very painful and you need help. Strapping firmly and resting by elevating the foot will help. Best thing though is to see a physio therapist .

I've suffered from this condition since last November. I've now got to a stage where i can walk without twinges but I still can't run without pain.

Another thing don't put it off seeing the physio. I hadn't realised how bad my tendonitis was. It had nearly torn right through and to fix it then would have been an operation.
