Brain/eye problems? HELP PLEASE I'm worried :(?!

Question: Brain/eye problems? HELP PLEASE I'm worried :(?
I'm 16 years old.
For nearly two weeks now I've had a really bad headache, but only on the right side of my head.
I've felt nauseas and keep losing my balance.
I threw up for about 1 hour on Friday, and I threw up once this evening.
When I lay in bed and my small lamp is on, when I close my left eye, everything is black (looking through my right eye) but when my right eye is closed everything is okay.

What's wrong with me? I'm quite scared. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a migraine to me, but you need to see a doctor. I've been getting migraines for years, but I've also had meningitis which is life-threatening. Look into "Hemiplegic Migraine" and "Ophthalmoplegic Migraine". Good luck and feel better.

Symptoms of hemiplegic migraine include:

* Severe, throbbing pain, often on one side of your head
* A pins-and-needles feeling, often moving from your hand up your arm
* Numbness on one side of your body, which can include your arm, leg, and/or one side of your face
* Weakness or paralysis on one side of your body
* Loss of balance and coordination
* Visual aura, such as seeing zigzag lines, double vision, or blind spots
* Language difficulties, such as mixing words or trouble remembering a word
* Slurred speech
* Dizziness or vertigo
* Nausea and vomiting
* Extreme sensitivity to light, sound, and smell
* Confusion
* Decreased consciousness or coma

Ophthalmoplegic migraine reasons:

* Problems in the blood ocular supply to the center of vision in the brain.
* Constriction and dilation of body arteries.
* Problems with artery of internal carotid.
* Nerve palsy.

The ophthalmoplegic migraine symptoms are nausea, double vision, vomiting and other visual disturbances.

Other symptoms of ophthalmoplegic migraine are haloes or glare around light sources, light sensitivity and burning eyes. Migraine symptoms are depend on its triggers. In more sever cases of ophthalmoplegic migraine, the patient have a low oxygen and blood flow to the brain which result neurologic deficit.

Ophthalmoplegic migraine is resulting from eyes stress activities such as by watching television, working on the computer and reading for long periods.

Happens to me too, cept I don't throw up and it COMES AND GOES like a mofo. I always feel nauseas when it happens. What I do is take a cold or warm shower, whatever makes it feel like its going away.

For me, I also have trouble walking with my right leg when it happens
