Should my neighboor be on disability?!

Question:

Should my neighboor be on disability?

He was reaching for his glass of chocolate milk, when he pulled his back out. Isn't that just ******* stupid? He mows his lawn all the time and goes out dancing with his much younger wife. I work really hard and he just lays up and does nothing for a fake injury...makes me mad. Opinions...

Answers:

If you are certain, beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is faking it, then by all means, report him. It's people like that which cause others of us to be so sensitive about even being 'labeled' as disabled. Unless a body part is visibly missing, the first thing someone things is you are a fraud. It is also why the majority of disability claims are denied the first time and you end up in front of a judge with a lawyer so that you are not left with absolutely nothing. Yeah, by all means get the dead beats off the payroll.

But mowing the lawn and 'going dancing with the wife' doesn't necessarily mean the person is a fraud. I mow my yard. Luckily I can now do it sitting down usually in less than 1.5 total hours with just 1 percocet, instead of it taking 2-3 DAYS and more pills than I care to think about. (The crap grows...what can you do?) As to the dancing....does he just go, does he dance, and if so, for how long? I could probably do that too, with drugs, for a very short period. Wouldn't be long, and not often, but hey.....I watch Dancing with the Stars too and have a real stubborn/stupid streak. I also am the only one that pays for that stubbornness the next day!

So you watch that neighbor closely and do what you think is right.
