Question:
My Uncle was bitten by something...?
Origally I thought it was a brown recluse spider bite. All the symptoms are there.. red, hard swollen, small lesion, and a lot of pain. He put a piece of potato on it to stop the infection from spreading, because he's a truck driver.
However, after a couple days he said he squeezed puss and what appeared as small rice out of it. (I'm thinking maybe eggs of some sort.) This is the only reason for thinking it isn't a spider bite. Any ideas on what it could be?

No, it basically sounds like a brown recluse bite. I'm interested in why the potato? I can't for the life of me think of any good reason for a potato. make sure you clean it with hydrogen peroxide, and then treat with neosporin and band-aids, if it starts to get much worse, definately go to a doctor, but after the bite, there is really not much you can do.
