Can Back pain in general be Passed from parents?!

Question:

Can Back pain in general be Passed from parents?

Answers:

There is no link between genetics and generalized back pain (and even in cases of scoliosis and rheumatoid arthritis the probability of a genetic link is very small).

Considering that 80% of the population will have back pain at some point - it's a structural thing that comes from walking upright, standing on hard surfaces, and straining the back.

That's not genetic .. it's environmental. Perhaps poor lifting habits, tendency to psychologically gear yourself to the "onset" of such things because your parents and/or grandparents suffer, or stressful (in a back-related sense) professions are more likely to be passed down than the possibility of bad back genes.
