Dislocated elbow?

I DISLOCATED MY ELBOW 2WEEKS AGO AND I WANT TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WHO HAS OR HAD EXPERIENCED THIS. MY PROBLEM IS THAT I CANNOT FULLY EXTEND MY ARM OR BEND IT FULLY. WHAT SHOULD I DO? IM WORRIED!!

doctor said my elbow is back in place. but when i removed my splint i do not have the mobility.

when i went to the physical therapist they told me to ice it and apply gentle movements. but it seems like my arm is'nt gonna bend or extend out.. im worried that my arm isnt gonna be the same.


Answers:

There are appropriate exercises that you can perform for your dislocated elbow including stretching exercises to decrease the limitation of motion in your elbow but precautionary procedure should be observe because you cannot perform these certain exercises unless the bones has healed completely. Forceful exercises may cause non-union or mal-union of the dislocated area. You should visit a phyical therapy rehab center, they will be able to tell you what exercises you can and cannot do now.
