Swallowed large object, should I see a doctor?

I swallowed a large object and it is not passing. I'm afraid it might tear up my digestrive tract if i dont pass it soon. It has been 3 days since i swallowed it. Is seeing a doctor worth the embarrasement of having to tell what i swallowed?
