Extra rib causing me pain?
my left side of my ribcage is longer than the right side, and i'm pretty sure that i have at least one extra rib over there. it has never bothered me until a few months ago. Now it feels like my ribs are rubbing against my hip bone or something like that....i don't even know how to describe it! It's not exactly painful but it is very uncomfortable, especially when I sit down. Has anyone ever had a situation like this before? I might go in to get a phsyical done, but I don't want them thinking that this "problem" of mine is stupid and silly...

Check www.webmd.com I always find it a good source of info, but you might want to see a dr. You may have just pulled or straind yourself and a muscle relaxer will fix it. Then agian you could have broken something.
