How to alleviate wrist pain from computer usage?!

Question: How to alleviate wrist pain from computer usage?
My job (graphic design) means I use computers at least 90% of the time. Lately I've been getting pain in my right knuckles all the way to my elbow. I know it's from using computers so much. Quitting isn't an option (I love my job). How can I stop this pain and prevent it in the future?

It's more of an annoying pain, it's hard to explain. I don't believe it is carpal tunnel.

Answers:

It's an occupational hazard. Perhaps going for regular massages would help. Ask the therapist to massage your upper back, focus on the muscles along the spine and around the shoulder blades (scapula), your neck muscles and arms. If the therapist can perform a hand reflexology that would be excellent. It may alleviate the pain.

Taking frequent breaks and doing some exercise at your desk may help keep your muscles flexible and eventually pain free.

The website below may give you some examples of recommended exercises. Take care.
