Question:

What do you do when a bee/wasp stings u on the finger?

Answers:

The first trick is to get the stinger out. Use a credit card or something to the like and brush across the area lightly until you feel the stinger...you want to ease the stinger out in this maner....I only say that because if you use tweezers or something you run the risk of further injecting yourself with whatever is left in the stinger....but if you are not allergic it will only make you itch a little longer. After you remove the stinger treating the area with over the counter products to reduce pain and swelling work well. i.e. advil...for a topical product try solarcaine for pain and itching. The calamine lotion of the past is new and improved and actually worked well on my children.
