What did I do? Is it broken?!

Question: What did I do? Is it broken?
So, I was playing kickball at my church last night, and my team was in the outfield. Long story short, I was guarding first base when this giant (no exaggeration), 250-ish pound guy runs straight into me. (It must have looked pretty funny.) So, I fell over and what not and said that I was okay and all that crap, but after that, a bone on my lower back really hurt. I tried to play kickball anyway, even though it hurt. As time went on, it started to hurt worse. That was yesterday; when I woke up this morning, it still hurt INSANELY. Now, it hurts to walk, run, sit, or lie down.
I didn't break a bone or anything did I?
The part that hurts is a bone near my bum.

Answers:

Nothing is broken, worst case scenario there could be a fracture. Most likely that is not the case and its sore muscles and bruised bone. If there are no tingling feelings or shooting pains, there are no worries of never damage and no need to worry about. Rest, Ice the area for 15 minute intervals couple times a day and take some Ibuprofen, that would help with the pain and swelling. If the pain intensity doesn't get better in a week, come see a doctor and they shall x-ray it, to make sure.

You can break a vertebra (the bones in your spine) and this is commonly referred to as a broken back. If yu are still in alot of pain as you say, you should see a Dr. Call your Reg. Dr. office and explain what happened and they might tell you to go to the emergency room since the office does not do x-rays. They also may tell you to come in and have the dr. evaluate you and see if he wants an x=ray. I do recommend you see a dr. due to the pain. Pain is the body's signal that something is wrong. Good luck.

The only bones in your back are your vertebra. You might have pulled a muscle but I highly doubt you'd be able to move if you broke it. Idk go see a doctor...
