Severe pain....................please help! just right anything helpful!!!!!!!!!!

Question: Severe pain....................please help! just right anything helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
So, i've been having this backache or pain for a week now and it's not getting any better.
The lower part of my body is aching. I think it's a muscle strain..........but i can't be so sure.
Football is my sport and i study on a comfortable chair.

I haven't been able to walk properly too.
Anything to help..............please.

Thanks a lot!

Answers:

You have pinched back muscles causing the pain and icing anything that is in a shortened mode could cause you more pain rather than less, you would be trying to make something short shorter, or keep it around longer by keeping it in the shortened mode by doing that. Heat would be better and freeing up the muscles the best and here's how to free them up:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

i think you should go to a doctor if your pain is interefering with your mobility and your life. until then, take 800mg of ibuprofen every 8 hours for no more than 3 days. you can also take 2 tylenol every 4 hours (DO NOT take more than 8 pills in a day) while you're taking the ibuprofen. alternate ice and heat where it hurts. ice for 20 min, rest for 20 min, heating pad for 20min.
you may need a prescription pain killer, so you should get to a doctor.

i'm a nurse

R.I.C.E- rest, ice, compression, elevation. And take some Advil to get any inflammation down. If it doesn't get any better, get to a doctor.

Dude..please go to the doctor!
