When the blood pressure is highest in the whole day;24 hours?!
Question:
When the blood pressure is highest in the whole day;24 hours?
i heard that at 4pm evening it is on highest point?is it correct?
Answers:
As far as I know the peak occurring time for highest blood pressure varies for different people.
My GP once told me the reason that most strokes or heart attacks occur in the early hours before dawn (say between 2 and 5 am) is because that is the time when the peak or highest blood pressure occurs for most people. Lying down as you do when you sleep is supposed to increase your blood pressure.
If you try a Yahoo search for "blood pressure" + peak (OR highest) + time you may perhaps learn more.
For some people the peak may well occur at other times during the day. It also depends on your lifestyle.
