What could be causing this?
My husband has a swollen lip, the swelling goes up into his nose. This happens a few times a week, almost every other day. He says it hurts b/c its so big. We have no clue what it could be. It has happened at his work at home and when we are out somewhere else so that knocks out something in the house, we dont think its food cause it happenes b4 he eats so that takes that out. Please help

This is called angioedema. I generally is caused by an alllergic reaction and can be a precusor to a serious reaction. My daughter had problems with ths for several years until we finally came to realize it was ketchup. She could eat tomatoes and marina sauce with no problem so it took us a while to figure out ketchup. Try to document what he has eaten in the 24 hour period prior to the lip swelling and you may find the source yourself. It might also be necessary to see an allergist about this.
